Again we venture on a journey of abstraction and cacophony. The second installment of our Discordian Dreaming Sampler series features artists who we feel consistently break boundaries and push the envelope of sonic invention. This edition features 4 Texas-based artists and tracks that we feel define the estranged environment that is Discordian Dreaming!

The collection starts out with in-house favorite Molecule, hot off his highly acclaimed Luna Rd. remixes. In this project Molecule ventures from his dance-floor heavy sound to provide a melodic electro masterpiece. Basic in design but beautiful in conception “I won’t let you Fall” is a trip into deep textures and sharp percussion. The tones are so penetrating that you are guaranteed to be humming the melody on your local commute.

The second selection comes to us from Deepness label founder and good friend Brent Thomas aka Elevotion. Brent is known for being able to produce selections that are fit for all palates. “Discordian Accordion” is a deep, heady techno tune with rocking toms and plenty of sizzling effects trills.

Next in-line is newcomer AllenMD. Allen’s been surrounded by world class talent for many years but the only thing that we can attribute this gem to is an astounding ear and a knack for sound design. “Suh-Press “is a bass-heavy minimal tune that guaranteed to translate well on the dance-floor. Lots of dissonant Doppler voices and static computer noises lead the listener into a world of Tron-based breakdance moves.

Last but never least is HD favorite Patchen Preston with another amazing deep synth-driven late night lullaby. “Reflections of a Misplaced Love” is a mid-tempo deep techno tune with evolving leads and arpeggios. This selection has shades of early electro and techno with a new age hustle.
